Two weeks in a row 😳

Never thought getting rejected would be on my to-do list, but being rejected two weeks in a row for two significant career and life-changing opportunities was tough. It felt like trying to fly a kite on a day when the wind didn’t show up — a futile effort.

The interview process can be emotionally intense, and I definitely felt vulnerable and inadequate throughout it all. However, looking back, I can see that the advice I received about finding gold in the feedback was spot on. I realized that even minor comments or suggestions could have a significant impact on my chances of success. So, I’m taking this as an opportunity to reflect on the entire process and make the necessary adjustments to present myself better as a candidate in the future.

I’m choosing to focus on hope and faith during this time and keep an open mind about new opportunities. I know luck can sometimes play a role in this process, but I also recognize it’s often who you know, rather than what you know. That’s why I’m planning on reaching out to my LinkedIn network for potential leads and more professional connections.

Overall, it’s been a tough couple of weeks, but I’m trying to stay positive and keep pushing forward. I know the right opportunity is out there for me, and I’m determined to find it.
