Is this a trend now? Trying to emulate someone far from your reality? I would say he (Tim) has 700 emails and needs to wake up early to do all of his home work before going to the gym and to his job. I'd also gather he gets his HR a lot more elevated than a brisk walk through the city. Had you done that those three days I would be confident you would have been more productive.
I am not trying to be negative. I am trying to say that with any radical change in schedule takes time to adapt. A few days isn't enough to alter the circadian rhythm. I commend you on your case study. 🎉
